Debbie Debbie is an Occupational Therapist as well as president and co-owner of KidzSPOT Pediatric Therapy. She received a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University and an M.A. in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. She has over 30 years of experience in pediatrics. She has completed her 8-week training in Neurodevelopmental Treatment Approach for Pediatrics and is a certified provider for Kinesiotaping, The Listening Program, Therapeutic Listening, Samonas, Interactive Metronome and in the administration of the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. She is also a certified infant massage instructor. Debbie is a past board member of the Arizona Occupational Therapy Association. She presently is on the Representative Assembly Leadership Team for the American Occupational Therapy Association. Debbie enjoys gardening, outdoor activities and traveling. She is married with two children.
Kimberly Kimberly is an Occupational Therapist who received her A.A and A.S from Cotty College, a B.S in Psychology from Culver Stockton and her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis Mo. She has worked in a pediatric setting for the past 10 years, including home health, school and private practice settings. Kim is a certified provider of Kinesiotaping, Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, Samonas, The Listening Program and a certified infant massage instructor. She also has attended courses in Acupressure and in Neurodevelopmental Treatment Approach in treating infants. Kim is an Arizona native and enjoys white water rafting and scrapbooking. She is married and a mom to 3 children.
Amy Amy is an Occupational Therapist who received her B.S in Child Development from the University of Missouri and her Masters in Occupational Therapy from University of Southern California. She has 10 years experience within the pediatric setting. She is a certified provider for the SIPT, Therapeutic Listening, The Listening Program, and Samonas. In addition Amy has taken a Neurodevelopmental Treatment Baby Handling Course. She enjoys reading and hiking when her time is not consumed with her 4 children, including a set of twins.
Laurie Laurie in an Occupational Therapist who received her B.S in Occupational Therapy from University of Washington. She also holds a B.S in Physical Education from University of Wisconsin. Laurie has worked for the past two years at this facility and for the past 35 years in various venues with children. She is certified in Therapeutic Listening, Interactive Metronome, and The Listening Program. She has three boys and loves sports and traveling. She was formerly a nationally ranked gymnast.
Karen Karen is a Physical Therapist who received a B.S in Psychology from ASU and a B.S in Physical Therapy at NAU. She has worked for 24 years within the pediatric setting at PCH, in the school system, home health as well as the clinic. Karen completed her 8-week Neurodevelopmental treatment training in pediatrics, is a certified provider for Interactive Metronome and has taken courses in Cranial Sacral therapy, Myofascial Release, Therapeutic Listening, Torticollis treatment and Kinesiotaping. She is currently serving on the Executive Board of Child Improvement Through Therapy and assists with the coordination of “Sun”sational Sibshops. She enjoys gardening, reading and scrapbooking as well as traveling with her husband and two sons.
Kelly Kelly is a Speech and Language Pathologist who received a B.S in Speech and Hearing Science and a Masters in Speech Pathology from the University of Arizona. Kelly has worked for over 30 years in the pediatric setting. She is trained in the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Approach for pediatrics as well as being certified in Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy, Therapeutic Listening, and The Listening Program. In addition she has training in the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding, Lymphatic Drainage and Visceral Manipulation. She is the mother of 2 college graduates and has one child in college. She enjoys traveling and sailing with her husband as well as gardening and cooking with friends.
Heidi
Heidi is a Physical Therapist who received a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Movement Science from Arizona State University as well as an honors diploma from Barrett, The Honors College at ASU. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. Heidi originally began pursuing her career in Physical Therapy to specialize in Pediatrics and is excited to be working at KidzSPOT! Both she and her husband are Arizona natives and grew up in Glendale. They enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, and Jeeping as well as playing golf and tennis. Heidi and her husband also enjoy attending ASU football games and have been season ticket holders since 2004. Go Devils!
Rachel
Rachel is a Speech-Language Pathologist who received a Bachelor of General Studies in Speech-Language Pathology and a Masters of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Kansas (Go Jayhawks!!). Rachel has been practicing Speech-Language Pathology since 2007. She has experience in pediatric speech-language intervention in both school-based and home-based programs. Her professional interests include early intervention, Autism, language and phonological disorders, and feeding/swallowing. She recently moved to Arizona from Overland Park, Kansas where she worked with children with severe Autism in a school-based setting. She has experience with using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and with augmentative communication devices. During her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and exploring her new city.
Genna Genna is a speech-language pathologist who received a B.S in Liberal Studies as well as a Masters in Clinical Speech Pathology from Northern Arizona University. She has completed fieldwork experience both school and clinical settings and in both outpatient and inpatient hospital settings. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, dancing, cooking and watching movies.
Sarah Sarah is an Occupational Therapist who graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services, a minor in Psychology and a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy. She has worked in pediatrics for two years. Her experience includes working with children in early intervention, home, clinic and school settings. Sarah is trained in the Handwriting Without Tears Program and is a certified provider of The Listening Program. She also has attended various courses in the areas of sensory integration. She recently moved to Arizona from the Chicago area and spends her time exploring her new town with her friends and playing with her puppy.
Carole Carole is a Speech/Language Pathologist who received a Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from the University of Oregon. She completed a 12 month Child Development Fellowship at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center in Portland Oregon which led to an interest in working with infants and young children with pre-speech and feeding difficulties. She is trained in the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Approach for Pediatrics as well as certified in the Therapeutic Listening Program; Sequential Oral Sensory Approach (SOS) to feeding. Her 30 years of experience in the field has given her the opportunity of working with infants and children (including Nursery Intensive Care Units) in in-patient and out-patient hospital settings, She enjoys working with families of young children in addition to participating in a variety of outdoor activities with her own family.
Kim Kim is a Physical Therapist who received a B.S. in Physical Therapy from University of Evansville in Indiana. She received a M.S. in Physical Therapy with a Pediatric Concentration from Texas Womans University. She has completed the 8-week Neurodevelopmental Treatment training in pediatrics. She is NDT- Certified. She has attended numerous courses concerning orthotic intervention and neurological treatment strategies. She has trained in Post-Rhizotomy treatment, Intrathecal Baclofen, serial casting and Torticollis treatment. She has worked in a variety of treatment settings including the neonatal intensive care, newborn follow-up clinic and cerebral palsy clinic. She has worked for 30 years in hospital, school, rehabilitation, home health, private practice and outpatient settings. She has been licensed in Texas, Indiana, Michigan and Arizona. She is a member of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and the Neurodevelopmental Treatment Association. She is married with four children. Her hobbies include being active at her children’s school and with scouting and traveling, camping, hiking, boating and scuba diving.
Jessica Jessica is a physical therapist who received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Her work in pediatrics spans across the school based model, home based and clinic based settings. She has completed her 8-week Neurodevelopmental Treatment approach for pediatrics, she is NDT certified, Jessica has also been trained in Kinesiotaping, treatment for Torticollis and ESTIM for pediatrics. Jessica also works as a pediatric lab assistant at AT Still University for the physical therapy department. She is originally from Dallas, Texas and loves watching the Dallas Cowboys, she still plays competitive volleyball and loves traveling and listening to music.
Jodi Jodi is delighted to be working as an occupational therapist for KidzSpot Pediatric Therapies. She grew up in Duvall, WI a tiny town about thirty minutes north of Green Bay. After graduating from Southern Door High School in 1998, Jodi proceeded to Mount Mary College in Milwaukee where she received her Bachelors of Science in occupational therapy in 2002 and followed with a Masters of Science in the same in 2004. Since 2004, Jodi has had a wide variety of job experiences including in-home pediatric therapy, occupational health in an industrial setting, and work with traumatic brain injury clients. Through all of these experiences, she has developed a passion for working with the pediatric population and is excited to continue this at KidzSpot.
Jodi has been married since 2004 to Chip, a nurse practitioner in Scottsdale. They have two beautiful children Abigail and Parker. Also part of the family is Bailey the Golden Retriever. In her free time Jodi enjoys going to Brewers games, scrap booking, hiking, biking and movies.
Linda Linda is our Office Manager. She has worked with KidzSPOT Pediatric Therapy for 18 years. Linda is a mom to three boys and has five grandchildren. She loves to travel.
Millie Millie handles billing and accounts receivable for our office. She received a diploma in registered nursing from Jefferson Hospital. She also has experience as a claims processor from Lincoln National Insurance. Millie has worked or our office for the past 25 years. She enjoys traveling, gardening, TV and movies.
Betty Betty is our front Office Assistant who has been retired for 13 years. She spent two years at Langwood College in Virginia. She previously worked as a Revenue Officer for the IRS and as a secretary for the Air Force. She enjoys cruising and spending time with her family, which includes 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Judie Judie handles the office’s insurance and billing. She attended Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, N.Y. She has 26 years of experience in office administration and insurance. Judie is married and has 6 children and 10 grandchildren. She loves to go antiquing in New England, doing puzzles and readying mystery novels.
Megan Megan is our Office Assistant. She assists all departments of our office. She enjoys reading and scrap booking as well as outdoor activities and sporting events with her husband.
